What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Established in 2012 by New York's 92nd Street Y, GivingTuesday has since grown into a globally recognized and celebrated event.
During GivingTuesday, supporters of nonprofits and schools look for ways to give back by donating, volunteering, and learning about the impactful work being done in their communities and throughout the world.
In an effort to emphasize the importance of giving back around the holiday season, GivingTuesday takes place annually on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. This year, GivingTuesday will take place on December 1, 2020.

How Do I Participate?
There are several ways your organization can participate in GivingTuesday, here are just a few.
- Participate in a Giving Day: Check out our GivingTuesday map to see if there is already a Giving Day already happening in your area. If so, go to their site and sign up to participate from there.

How Does GiveGab Handle Donations?
Organizations will automatically receive all donations within 5 business days via direct deposit, as long as ACH information has been entered and verified. All donations will be officially receipted for tax purposes by GiveGab.
How Will My Organization Know Who Donated and How Much?
As with any other campaign on GiveGab, all organizations that run campaigns on GivingTuesday will be able to access donation reports through their administrative dashboard, which is updated in real-time. Reports include each donor’s name, email, amount donated, and more!
