The Big Share 2018 Raises Over $430K for Wisconsin Nonprofits
On March 6, 2018, nonprofit members of Community Shares of Wisconsin participated in their fourth annual Giving Day, The Big Share 2018!
This 24-hour fundraising event was hosted in its fourth consecutive year by Community Shares of Wisconsin for their member nonprofits with the mission to continue building an equitable, just community, and to protect the environment.
The Big Share Results
In just one day, 68 participating organizations raised over $430,000; a $116k+ increase from the previous year!
The Big Share Prizes
Similar to last year, The Big Share utilized the power of prizes to help encourage increased engagement, outreach, and incoming support. These monetary prizes were awarded at varying intervals throughout the day in the form of Power Hours and Golden Ticket Hours.

The Big Share Leaderboards
Totals for most raised and most donors were updated in real-time and showcased on The Big Share Leaderboards:
Kids Forward topped the leaderboards with the Most Raised at over $32k, 131% of their goal!
Freedom Inc topped the Leaderboards with the Most Donors at 275!
