New Hampshire Successfully Launches Their First Giving Day, NH Gives 2016
On June 7th, 2016, the state of New Hampshire held their very first Giving Day, NH Gives 2016.
From midnight until 11:59pm, hundreds of nonprofits from throughout New Hampshire promoted their causes and collected online donations through the state’s official Giving Day website, nhgives.org.
This 24-hour online fundraising event was established by the NH Center for Nonprofits with support from NH Business for Social Responsibility, the NH Charitable Foundation, and United Ways of Granite, Monadnock and Greater Nashua.
As the Giving Day platform behind NH Gives 2016, all of us from the GiveGab team are extremely pleased by the passion exhibited by NH nonprofits and the incredible generosity shown by their supporters.
Participating nonprofits can continue to collect donations through nhgives.org until midnight on Friday, June 10th, and will have extended access to their personal accounts through GiveGab’s fundraising platform, where they can launch unlimited campaigns.
As of June 8th, 2016, 281 nonprofits raised over $180,000 from 1,752 generous donors!

A variety of prizes were awarded throughout the Giving Day, with recipients announced on the NH Gives prizes page, including prizes for nonprofits with the most donors and most dollars raised for each 6-hour period.
As with most Giving Days on the GiveGab platform, nonprofits who raised the most money and those who had the most donors within each 6-hour and 24-hour period were added to the Giving Day Leaderboards.
With the success of their first-ever Giving Day, we’re excited to see how New Hampshire continues to inspire giving and support of their local nonprofits!
