GiveGab Visits SPCA of Tompkins County
Recently Nicole, Karin, and I made a visit to the SPCA of Tompkins County.
We received a warm reception from, Executive Director, Jim Bouderau and, Volunteer and Philanthropic Programs Manager, Lynne Conway. They gave us a tour of the facility, we spoke about their experiences using GiveGab, and about the SPCA of Tompkins County’s history within the community.

About SPCA of Tompkins County
SPCA of Tompkins County is a long time partner of GiveGab. They promote responsible pet stewardship by supplying education, counseling, and training to nurture and enhance the human-animal bond in Tompkins County. They provide many services for the community including low-cost spay and neuter surgeries.
SPCA of Tompkins County was incorporated in 1902. In 2002 they became the first “no kill” shelter in the nation saving 100% of healthy and treatable dogs and cats. In 2004 they opened the Dorothy & Roy Park Pet Adoption Center the nation’s first LEED Certified “green” animal shelter. Currently, the SPCA takes in close to 2000 animals each year who find happy new homes. The SPCA of Tompkins County staff are trendsetters on the cutting edge of sustainability, responsibility, and compassion and GiveGab is proud to call them our partners!
What they had to say about the GiveGab Customer Success team
“We’re a very active organization and we’re also a very needy organization. We have a lot of Giving Day participation, campaigns that we’re running and we expect a high level of customer service, which is completely provided by GiveGab.”
– Lynne Conway
What they had to say about the GiveGab platform
“I had some experience using other platforms. The GiveGab platform was much more user-friendly and intuitive. The chat feature is huge, if you do come up against a struggle, either as a nonprofit managing the campaign or as somebody on the donor side. The response is usually immediate.”
– Jim Bouderau
