Girls Inc. of NYC
Girls Inc. of NYC found the Ease, Support and Functionality they were Looking for with GiveGab!
Girls Inc. of NYC is a nonprofit on a mission to inspire low-income and underserved girls to be strong, smart, and bold through participation in the Girls Inc. Experience, which reflects the totality of what they provide girls and what happens when they participate in Girls Inc. Annually, Girls Inc. of NYC services 6,000 girls (ages 8 to 18) with research-based programs designed to enrich, educate, and inspire those living in the poorest communities across the five boroughs of New York.
Andrea Brown, Director of Development for Girls Inc. of NYC, shared her fundraising success story using GiveGab for both everyday fundraising and Giving Day participation.
Girls Inc. of NYC had used an alternative fundraising platform in the past, which Andrea described as being much more limited in its ability to segment audiences within the database as compared to GiveGab.
For Andrea, she liked the customization abilities that GiveGab has to offer, and expressed that it was the only affordable platform offering so much flexibility!
"GiveGab's plug and play online platform is very easy to use and has a relatively easy learning curb. It's a great resource that we continue to use as an outreach tool."
The most positive experience Girls Inc. of NYC had using GiveGab was running donation reports during their participation in #NYGivesDay, a statewide Giving Day for New York State that occurs on #GivingTuesday each year.
Here is a screenshot of their #NYGivesDay 2017 giving profile:
On #GivingTuesday 2017, Girls Inc. of NYC raised $19,590 from 128 donors! Girls Inc. of NYC also loved the stellar customer support provided by GiveGab's Customer Success team via #SuccessChat in support of their Giving Day participation.
"We never felt isolated because your Customer Success team responded very quickly to every message." Using GiveGab gave Girls Inc. increased visibility, made it easy to execute an effective ask, and was a means for accepting gifts online and receiving those gifts in a timely fashion.
For their #GivingTuesday 2017 campaign on GiveGab, they raised $19,590 from 128 supporters, and overall (as of May 2018) have raised over $120k from 695 supporters on the GiveGab platform!
The primary reason why Andrea would recommend GiveGab to other nonprofits?
