READY, SET, GIVE for National Volunteer Week!

Celebrate National Volunteer Week April 10-16 by giving back to your community!

Founded by Points of Light in 1974, National Volunteer Week is all about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to make their communities stronger.

Whether you volunteer at a local food pantry, help clean up a neighborhood park or give time to your school’s PTA…you are giving where it counts.

The farm families of Cabot Creamery Co-operative are grateful that their lives revolve around the most basic human themes: family, community, work, and service.

The Cabot dairy farm families have committed themselves to community service and volunteerism for generations, with farmers serving as town council members, firefighters, Sunday school teachers, classroom aides, coaches, soup kitchen servers and many other acts of goodness.

The farm families who own Cabot Creamery Co-operative, along with Points of Light, National Cooperative Bank, and Create the Good, want to promote volunteerism in your community.

We’ve created Reward Volunteers, a free and easy way to track the time you spend volunteering in your community and to earn rewards for your contributions. We have amazing prize sponsors like Ben & Jerry’s, Kind Snacks, Dansko, Seventh Generation, as well as cash prizes for non-profits.

With Reward Volunteers, anyone anywhere in the U.S. can support volunteer efforts, inspire friends to get involved, and bring well-earned recognition to hard working volunteers and non-profits in your community.

Let Cabot and Points of Light know how you are strengthening your community through volunteerism by sharing pictures and stories on social media and tagging with #NVW2016 and #rewardvolunteers.
