A Product Update That’s About Updates
So, it’s been a while since the last product update, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been really busy building new stuff!
Here’s a small tidbit of what we’ve been working on…
Campaign Updates
One of the best ways of engaging with your donors is to let them know what kind of impact their gift has made. We’ve made that easier with our Campaign Updates feature.
With Updates, you can create a post with photos and text attached to your campaign. All donors to your campaign will be notified via email when you post. You could even use this before the campaign ends to show progress and re-engage donors to post to social media.

New Campaign Template for Video
So you’ve put a lot of hard work into making a compelling video for your fundraising campaign, and you can’t wait for potential donors to see it and take action.
Our new “Focus” campaign template allows you to feature your video front and center. Here’s how Bike Walk Tompkins used this template for their Streets Alive! 2016 campaign, and how Braeside Camp did for their Cots for Tots campaign.
Registration Types
Our Event Fundraising platform has been in beta for a while, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been improving it. We’ve recently added Registration Types. This versatile feature lets you create different choices for your participants.
For example, you can let them choose between Runners and Walkers, different time slots, or different pricing tiers…depending on the needs of your event.

Add Admins Faster
We’ve received a lot of questions about how to add admins in the past because it involved a few steps that weren’t very clear. Recently we’ve condensed these steps into a simpler interface that lets you add an administrator or anyone to your organization.
Other Changes:
- Campaigns that reach 100% get featured on our Wall of Fame
- Make a mistake entering an Offline Donation? You can now edit them!
- You no longer need to scroll through a huge drop-down — We’ve added a search that should make things a lot quicker when choosing from a list of fundraisers or donors
- Export information about your supporters to a CSV
- Team fundraisers get an email notification when someone donates directly to a team
- Old p2p fundraisers have a new look on your user dashboard, so it doesn’t look as cluttered
