Nonprofits on GiveGab Raised Over $43 Million on #GivingTuesday 2017

On November 28, 2017, thousands of nonprofits used GiveGab to promote their causes, engage with their supporters, and raise funds on #GivingTuesday.

While many organizations created individual fundraising campaigns through the year-round fundraising software, others utilized the platform through one of the eight Giving Days powered by GiveGab.

These Giving Days included: New York Gives Day for nonprofits throughout New York State, Brooklyn Gives for twenty select nonprofits in Brooklyn, CUNY Tuesday for the twenty-four City University of New York colleges, We Give Catholic for 175 Catholic organizations in Northeast Ohio, Give Big Pittsburgh for nonprofits throughout Pittsburgh, PA, News Match for nonprofit news organizations across the United States, ILGive for nonprofits throughout Illinois, and Big D Gives for nonprofits in Dallas, TX.


New York Gives Day

#NYGivesDay is a 24-hour online challenge to celebrate nonprofits across the state of New York.  This day brought in over $11 million in 2016 and over $15 million for 2017.  

Brooklyn Gives

#BrooklynGives is an emerging local giving campaign created by Brooklyn Community Foundation in 2016 to benefit the top local organizations that are finalists for its annual Spark Prize.  This Giving Day raised over $360k for twenty local nonprofits on #GivingTuesday.  Learn more by visiting

We Give Catholic

#GivingTuesday 2017

#weGiveCatholic is a one-day Giving Event that provides Catholic schools, parishes, Catholic Charities sites/programs, special ministries, and nonprofits affiliated with the Diocese of Cleveland, the opportunity to connect with their current donors and establish relationships with new donors.  This Giving Day raised over $700k on #GivingTuesday.  Learn more by visiting  

Give Big Pittsburgh

#GiveBigPitssburgh is an online giving day hosted by the Pittsburgh Magazine in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Foundation created to support the nonprofits doing great work in the local community.  This Giving Day brought in over $1.4 Million this #GivingTuesday.  Learn more by visiting   

News Match

#GivingTuesday 2017#NewsMatch is a national campaign to encourage grassroots support for nonprofit news organizations. In 2017, the campaign will match more than $3 million in individual donations to more than 100 nonprofit news organizations and provide critical capacity-building support to increase individual giving to nonprofit news.  This campaign will run from the first of October, 2017, to December 31, 2017.  Learn more by visiting  


#GivingTuesday 2017

#ILGive is Illinois’ official #GivingTuesday campaign, connecting Illinois residents with causes they care about. #ILGive (pronounced ‘I’ll Give’) is an initiative of Forefront, Illinois’ statewide membership association for nonprofits, grantmakers, public agencies, advisors, and sector allies.  This Giving Day brought in over $2.3 Million this year.  Learn more by visiting  

Big D Gives

#GivingTuesday 2017

#BigDGives is the local response to the global movement, #GivingTuesday, for nonprofits throughout Dallas, Texas.  This Giving Day brought in over $22 Million this year.  

Over 8,000 nonprofit organizations throughout the United States use GiveGab to launch fundraising campaigns and events, manage their volunteer opportunities and supporters, participate in Giving Days, and more.
