On November 27, 2018, #iGiveCatholic hosted their fourth annual Giving Day!
#iGiveCatholic is a 24 hour Giving Day, held on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday (#GivingTuesday), that rallies the Catholic community to support charitable organizations.
The day kicks off the charitable season, collecting secure tax-deductible donation for eligible Catholic organizations in participation arch/dioceses.

From the Project Manager
#iGiveCatholic is the first nationwide Catholic day of giving and works closely with dioceses all across the country to involve their parishes, schools and nonprofit ministries. What’s really unique about this day, in particular, is that each diocese is able to maintain their own identity, all with the mission of #iGiveCatholic in mind. This year 28 dioceses had custom #iGiveCatholic landing pages on which participants could create their own campaigns. This enabled those participants to cultivate relationships with sponsors and major donors to create incentives like matching gifts and prizes.
The past eight months of preparations have been very thrilling, challenging and rewarding. The unique structure of this day was a definite departure from the common giving day project, and I feel really fortunate to have been a part of it. Moreover, the #iGiveCatholic team was absolutely amazing to work with. Callie, Cory, and Josephine have been true partners from the start. Their vision and work ethic contribute immensely to the growing success of the day, and we can’t wait to see where it goes from here. It’s incredible that eight months have flown by with this team, but I’m already excited for next year!
Congratulations on a fantastic giving day! Raising $2 million more than the previous year is an impressive feat. I’m not at all surprised by the success of this year. It is clear how completely your team, the participating dioceses, and their participating organizations have invested in the mission of #iGiveCatholic.
Congratulations, #iGiveCatholic!
