Horizons Giving Day 2017 Raised Over $1 Million
On May 17, 2017, Horizons Giving Day ensued for 24 hours of fundraising for 41 participating organizations.
Celebrating its third annual celebration this year, Horizons Giving Day is a national fundraising campaign initiated by Horizons National to bring heightened awareness and funds to Horizons programs throughout the country.
“These programs serve to close opportunity and achievement gaps for low-income students by providing educational enrichment services to over 4,5000 students each year.”

Horizons Giving Day 2017 brought in over $1 Million from 1,983 donors!
Horizons Giving Day Prizes
Monetary prizes were awarded to participants who met specific challenges throughout the day. These prizes ranged from $1,000 to $3,000, contributing to the fundraising totals of many participating organizations.
Horizons Giving Day Leaderboards
Totals for Most Raised and Most Donors were updated in real-time and made available on the Horizons Giving Day Leaderboards.
Topping the Leaderboards for having the Most Raised and Most Donors was Horizons National with over $418k raised from 306 donors.
With a fundraising goal of $150k, Horizons National raised 279% of that, bringing in over $480k!
Horizons National fully customized their giving profile to include giving levels to make the donation process easier for their supporters, along with an informative video about what they do and a compelling story to follow.
