GivingTuesday 2019 Giving Days
This Giving Tuesday, GiveGab will support 15 Giving Days happening across 54 communities nationwide!
A Giving Day is a 24-hour (or longer) online fundraising challenge that aims to rally groups of people around a particular state/region, cause, holiday/event, or educational institution.
With GivingTuesday known as the global day of giving, it has become a popular day for fundraising amongst organizations and schools. GivingTuesday will take place on December 3, 2019.
We asked each of our 15 live GivingTuesday Giving Days (+39 diocese for #IGiveCatholic) why you should get involved with their day.

Your contribution will provide direct, student-focused support for multiple units at UB — Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Public Affairs, the Merrick School of Business, the School of Law, the Robert L. Bogomolny Library and Student Success. Each gift you make will result in a brightly colored bow on the Edgar Allan Poe statue on Gordon Plaza.
The amount of your gift is up to you, but the units are competing with each other to see which one can garner the highest number of gifts (earning The Coveted Bowphy) and the highest amount of donation dollars (earning the Giving Cup). So, sure—give more than once.

Our 25 colleges provide high-quality education to all New Yorkers, propelling six times as many alumni into the middle class as all the Ivy League colleges combined. #GivingTuesday has inspired giving around the world, resulting in greater donations, volunteer hours, and activities that highlight the good and encourage engagement and support in communities.
This global day of giving on December 3, 2019 is the official beginning of the charitable season. Celebrated on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is an opportunity for local organizations to raise funds and awareness for our community.
Last year, more than 200 nonprofit organizations raised over $20 million dollars, and this year, we’re teaming up with United Way of Tarrant County, and United Way of Denton County to host #GivingTuesdayDFW, our local response to #GivingTuesday.
Whether you’re a nonprofit looking to participate or an individual looking to give back through donating or volunteering, everyone can “give from the heart” and get involved in this special day.
Together, we can earn DFW the title of Most Generous Community in America!

As the first-ever online giving day created to celebrate our Catholic faith, the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day inspires faithful stewards to “Give Catholic” on #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving. The goal of the #iGiveCatholic Giving Day is to rally our Catholic communities throughout the country in support of the organizations that shape our souls: Our parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries.
For Catholics, generosity and giving have a profound meaning. As we reflect with grateful hearts on how blessed we are, we are inspired to give back to God from our deep sense of gratitude. Compelled to action by our grateful compassion, we unite on this #iGiveCatholic Giving Day, sharing what we have to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give shelter to the homeless, and preserve our Catholic heritage for future generations.

#ILGive is a 24-hour online fundraising event to empower individuals to create change in their communities by supporting local nonprofits throughout Illinois.
#ILGive will raise money for our communities, increase awareness of local nonprofits that are tackling critical issues, and help make Illinois a more vibrant place to live.
#ILGive (pronounced “I’ll Give”) is an initiative of Forefront. Forefront is Illinois’ statewide membership association that serves both nonprofits and grantmakers, as well as public agencies, advisors, and sector allies. We provide education, advocacy, thought leadership, and facilitate collective action around issues that are important to our Members and to our sector.

Big Give Knox is Knoxville’s 24-hour online giving campaign designed to raise money and awareness for our local non-profit community! Join us in making a huge impact for Knoxville and the people in it.
CannaMakeADifference Day
CannaMakeADifference Day is designed to allow the cannabis community to elevate local nonprofits in legalized states and educate the cannabis industry on the benefits of supporting local nonprofits as well as educate nonprofits on the benefits of accepting support. As far as the challenges of supporting and accepting support, we hope CannaMakeADifference will elevate the public conversation to make things easier for both!

Cattaraugus Gives
Cattaraugus Gives is a 24-hour online fundraising event, bringing together community nonprofits with the shared goal of making the Cattaraugus region a stronger, more vibrant community and place to live. Participating nonprofits have the opportunity to win prizes, raise more money and more awareness of their work. Give Big Hawai’i
Give Big Hawai‘i will raise money for local nonprofits through a single online donation platform, providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most. This 24-hour online fundraising effort, hosted by HONOLULU Magazine in conjunction with the Hawai‘i Community Foundation and local sponsors, offers nonprofits the chance to raise funds to support their mission.
Give Big Pittsburgh
Give Big Pittsburgh will raise money for local nonprofits through a single online donation platform, providing a simple way to connect donors to the charitable causes they care about most. This 24-hour online fundraising effort, hosted by Pittsburgh Magazine in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Foundation and local sponsors, offers nonprofits the chance to raise funds to support their critical missions.
Match Day
MatchDay is an opportunity for donors to make their gifts go farther than they would on any other day of the year. The Western Kansas Community Foundation partners with area non-profit organizations to raise funds for the needs of those organizations now, and provide a matching contribution to those donations to benefit the agencies’ endowed funds through the Foundation. Thirty-four local non-profits are participating in this year’s giving event, which boasts a $75,000 match pool that has been provided by local sponsors. The more you give, the more your favorite charities get of the $75,000!
StriveTogether
StriveTogether is providing an online giving campaign to assist its Cradle to Career Network on GivingTuesday. Join us in raising awareness and support from the communities we serve.
